The Traverse Symphony Orchestra has appointed Becky Beauchamp as its new director of development.

In her new role, which began this week, she will solicit individual gifts to the TSO’s Annual Fund, pursue grants from public, corporate and private sources, and secure planned and endowment gifts.

She has more than 25 years of development, nonprofit management, government and public advocacy, and served for 10 years as executive director of United Way of Northwest Michigan.
