Holes-in-one were recorded at two Leelanau County golf courses last week.

Phil Scherer aced the 159-yard 13th hole at Leland Country Club on Tuesday, Sept. 4. The witnesses included Nell Smith, Louise Scott and Logan Hardy.

On Saturday, Sept. 8, Youngman Chai of Elmwood Township recorded a hole-in-one at The Leelanau Club at Bahle Farms. Chai aced No. 4, a 150-yard par-3, with a 7-iron and shot an 80 for 18 holes. The witnesses were Paul Timock, John Alexander and Mike Hoffman.
