G-T Chorus plans visitors' night

The Grand Traverse Chorus will hold a visitors' night on Tuesday at the Grand Traverse Heritage Center in Traverse City.

Elmwood now eyes DeYoung ownership

Still more than $1 million away from paying off its loan for the 145-acre DeYoung Natural Area that includes a big chunk of Cedar Lake frontage, the Leelanau Conservancy Tuesday convinced Elmwood Township to embrace a new ownership plan for the property.

The Suttons Bay Township Planning Commission has recommended approval of several new definitions it hopes to add to the township zoning ordinance.

Norse 3rd at Greater Northwest

Suttons Bay used consistent performances from its top seven runners to place third out of 15 boys' teams at the Greater Northwest Conference cross country meet in Kingsley Tuesday.
