ENGAGED: SARI FRANCES GILBERTSON and
TODD MICHAEL FORTON

Sari Frances Gilbertson of Flint and Todd Michael Forton of Milwaukee have announced their wedding engagement.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Thomas and Lana Gilbertson of Grand Blanc, and is a graduate of Grand Blanc High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in elementary and early childhood education, and a master’s degree from U-M in literacy. She is employed as a teacher at Holy Family Catholic School in Grand Blanc.

The future groom is the son of Louis and Merle Forton of Suttons Bay. He is a graduate of Suttons Bay High School, a U.S. Navy veteran, and has a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering from Michigan Technological University in environmental engineering. He is a safety director at Global Manufacturing and Technology at Johnson Controls, Inc., in Milwaukee.

The couple plans an Oct. 20 wedding date in Suttons Bay.
