A 1-car parking accident in Glen Arbor Saturday resulted in injuries to a couple from Alma.

Gladys P. Andrews of Alma was attempting to park her vehicle on State Street east of Ray Street in the village when she inadvertently stepped on the gas and struck a tree. The 80-year-old woman and Vernon J. Andrews, 85, also of Alma, were transported to Munson Medical Center where they were treated and released.

A second passenger, 57-year-old Barbara Barown of Ireland, was not injured.
