The Glen Arbor Art Association's Off-Season Film Series begins Tuesday night with the showing of the psychological thriller, Cache.

The French film is directed by Michael Haneke and stars Juliette Binoche (The English Patient) and Daniel Auteuil, who play a couple puzzled and frightened by the receipt of mysterious videotapes showing aspects of their lives apparently filmed by a stalker.

The 118-minute film, which has English subtitles, will begin airing at 7:30 p.m. and be followed by a short discussion. It will be shown in the GAAA’s building on 6000 Pine St. in Glen Arbor. There is no charge, but donations are welcome.

The GAAA will show a film on the last Tuesday of each month through next spring as part of the series. Call 334-6112 for more information.

The GAAA also announced it will have a gallery show of members’ artwork called Fall for Art in Leelanau for three days next week. The show will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 5 and 6, and 10 a.m. 2 p.m. on Oct. 7. Among the artists whose work will be displayed include Jane Batteiger, Harvey Gordon, Shirley Hoaglund and Robert deJonghe.
