Ken Homa, director of the new Goodwill Inn shelter in Traverse City, will speak to the Glen Lake Woman's Club on Wednesday, Oct. 3 at the Glen Lake Community Church. The meeting begins at noon.

Traverse City's Goodwill Inn is the largest homeless shelter in northern Michigan. Its goal is to help those who have lost their homes and are trying to build stable lives to overcome the causes of homelessness.

Pete's Place, which is designated for teenagers, is also located at the shelter.
