Grand Traverse Area Retired School Personnel will meet at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 9, at the Traverse City Elk Club.

Jayne Mohr, assistant superintendent of Traverse City Area Public Schools, and Paul Soma, chief financial officer for the district, will be guest speakers and discuss how curriculum changes are affecting school districts.

A $10 charge covers meal and gratuity. Reservations, which are required, must be made by Oct. 4.
