Another beautiful weekend. Not a lot of color yet, but it will come.

Happy birthday wishes to Irv Beck, who is 80 years old.

Speaking of old, Heritage Day at the Empire Area Museum in Empire will be celebrated on Saturday, Oct. 13, from 1-4 p.m. There will be demonstrations in the making of apple cider, ice cream, butter, apple butter, maple sugar candy, sauerkraut, cement blocks using turn-of-the-century methods. The museum is really interesting and a must-see in the area.

Happy anniversary to Mr. and Mrs. Hal Pendleton. Forty-seven years – congratulations.
