Michigan Supreme Court Justice Elizabeth "Betty" Weaver of Glen Arbor will address the seventh annual meeting of the Women's History Project of Northwest Michigan on Saturday, Oct. 27.
The public is invited to the meeting, which includes a luncheon and short business meeting.
The Women’s History Project presents educational programs in support of its mission to recognize and preserve women’s contributions to families and communities.
The meeting begins at 11:30 a.m. and will be held at the Grand Traverse Heritage Center at 322 Sixth Street in Traverse City. Reservations for the luncheon, which costs $15, are due by Monday, Oct. 22. Checks should be made payable to WHPNM and sent to 322 Sixth St., Traverse City, MI 49684.
