“PEACE MENTORS” from Norris Elementary in Elmwood Township collected 1,222 items for the Father Fred Foundation’s “Help Stock the Pantry” drive over the past two weeks. It was the first of several activities planned by the mentors this year, which were planned “so people remember what a great place Norris is.” Norris, part of the Traverse City Area Public Schools, is scheduled to close at the end of the 2007-08 school year.
