TIM BRICK of Solon Township (center) was presented the fourth annual Jim Mudgett Trail Pioneer Award by past recipient Lois Bahle of Suttons Bay (right) during a Traverse Area Recreation and Transportation (TART) Trails event at Black Star Farms in Bingham Township on Oct. 4.  TART Trails executive director Bob Otwell (left) explained that the award was created to honor individuals who have shown leadership and passion for local trails, including the Leelanau Trail.  Brick owns and operates the Brick Wheels store in Traverse City.
