The Day of the Dead Celebration at the Dennos Museum Center is set for Tuesday, Oct. 30 through Monday, Nov. 5.

An exhibition of traditional Mexican folk art will be featured with Day of the Dead themes. There will also be an opportunity to contribute to an altar, and receive self-guided tours of the altars created by community members.

As part of the celebration and the Arts Midwest World Fest, the Mexican Son Jarocho band Los Utrera will be giving educational concerts for more than 1,400 students from a 50-mile radius at the museum throughout the week. Los Utrera will give a public concert on Saturday, Nov. 3 at 8 p.m.
