A violinist with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra who is known as the "cool concertmaster" will perform at two concerts in the City Opera House in Traverse City on Nov. 10 and 11.
Frank Almond will perform as a conductor and soloist at the Traverse Symphony Orchestra concerts. The program will feature excerpts from Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, the String Serenade of Tchaikovsky, and concertos by Bach and Haydn.
The concerts will be held at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10 and 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 11. Black Star Farms in Bingham Township is one of the sponsors of Saturday’s concert.
