The Inland Seas Education Association will present a seminar that focuses on the future of the lake sturgeon at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 27 in Suttons Bay.
The program, entitled Save the Sturgeon, will be presented by Brenda Archambo. She is the founder and president of Sturgeon For Tomorrow, a non-profit organization whose mission is to assist fisheries managers in the rehabilitation of lake sturgeon.
Lake sturgeon is the oldest Michigan fish specie, and almost all of the world’s sturgeon species are endangered, threatened or near extinction, Archambo said.
