for more than a month. Details of his
disappearance have been posted on the
America’s Most Wanted website.

Floyd’s name, picture and a description of circumstances surrounding his disappearance are posted on the TV show’s website.

Floyd, 18, has been missing for more than a month. He was last seen at 3:30 a.m. on the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Reservation in Isabella County. Law enforcement authorities characterize his disappearance as “involuntary” and suspect foul play.

Floyd went downstate to attend a concert at Finch Fieldhouse on the campus of Central Michigan University. Family members say he went to a party on the reservation after the concert. It is there where family members report Floyd was taunted, threatened and provoked by a group of people.

More than 120 volunteers, including 50 members of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians, were involved in a search Oct. 28 in a remote area in northwest Isabella County known to Mount Pleasant locals as “the end of the world.”

The land, a mixture of tribal and state acreage, is densely wooded and difficult to navigate.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is involved in the search effort, which has also involved the Saginaw Chippewa Tribal Police, Grand Traverse Band Police, Leelanau County Sheriff’s Department, Michigan State Police and the Isabella County Community Response team.

Law enforcement authorities are asking deer hunters who might be accessing remote areas this week to keep an eye out for his car, which has yet to be recovered. Floyd, the grandson of Linda Holt of Suttons Bay, drives a black 1995 Cadillac DeVille 4-door sedan with Michigan license plate BRK3733. The trunk is held down with a bungee cord.

Anyone with information about the disappearance is asked to contact the Saginaw Chippewa Tribal Police at 989-775-4700, or the Leelanau County Sheriff’s Department at 256-8800.
