THE NEW owners of CenterPointe held an open house Tuesday at the Elmwood Township landmark, formerly known as both the Lake States Insurance and Reef Petroleum building. At the open house, hors d’oeuvres were served and music was provided by harpist Sylvia Norris (below). A steady crowd of people attended the four-hour open house, including David Hall, who showed pictures of the construction of the original Reef Petroleum building from the 1980s.
