A 72-year-old Maple City woman was injured in a 1-car accident Sunday evening in Glen Arbor Township.

A car driven by Agnes Swanson was eastbound on County Road 675 when it ran off the roadway and struck a tree, the Leelanau County Sheriff’s Department said. Sheriff’s deputies, a state Conservation officer and Glen Arbor Fire and Rescue personnel responded to the accident, which occurred about 6:15 p.m.

Swanson was transported to Munson Medical Center, where she was listed in fair condition Monday.
