An exhibit of new work by Northport artist Marianne Vick will be featured at Tamarack Gallery in Omena.

An open house reception will be held on Friday, Nov. 23, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the exhibit, “Birds Eye View: Paintings by Marianne Vick.” The exhibit will continue through December.

Vick began painting animals and birds on rocks in 1971, and earned recognition for her original and detailed work. She recently began painting on wood and canvas.
