The snowbirds have left, the hunters are in the woods, and the apples are crisp. It must be fall in Omena. That also means that the peninsula will slow down; I look forward to that.
AVOA would like to thank everyone for their donations for the post office roof. I also want to remind people that the donation box is still at the post office. We are still a long way from paying for the roof, so any help you can give us would be appreciated.

At the last Club 21 meeting, it was reported that the club provided pie and costumed servers at Tendercare. Also, the club met at the museum on Nov. 7 for discussion on events and decorating Omena for the holidays, and gifts for Tendercare residents.
