Local residents have several locations in the county to drop off toys for needy children to be distributed through the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve.

New, unwrapped toys will be accepted at the following sites through Dec. 1:

• Hansen Foods and the Suttons Bay Dental Center in Suttons Bay;

• Maple Valley Nursing Home and MC Short Stop near Maple City;

• First Steps Discovery Center in Empire Township;

• Leland Township Library in Leland; and

• Huntington National Bank in Northport.
