Pat Lewallen, recently retired Traverse City Area Public School administrator and a former junior high principal, has been named executive director of Boys & Girls Clubs of Grand Traverse.

She will oversee operations, programming and staffing at the newly opened Boys & Girls Clubs locations at Peshawbestown in Leelanau County, and West Junior High School in Traverse City.

Tonia Bailey has been selected as the interim site manager at Peshawbestown. She will be assisted by Grace Chivas, Keith Kilbourne and Denise Speer. The program is located at the Strongheart Center in Peshawbestown and serves all Leelanau County youths between the ages of 6 and 18.
