The following is a synopsis of the November 5, 2007 meeting of the Kasson Township

Board. A complete transcript is available from the Township Clerk. Supervisor Lanham called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. All members were present as well as three guests.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
The following items was added to the agenda: PILT Monies.
No conflict of interest was declared.
The minutes of the October 1, 2007 meeting were approved.
Reviewed correspondence.
Received Treasurer’s report and approved payment of bills.
Reviewed permits for October.
Received Planning Commission report.
Reappointed Rachel Roberts and Charles Schaeffer and appointed Vic Lane to three year terms on the Planning Commission.
Appointed Supervisor Lanham as a second authorized signing authority regarding the Township Pension Plan.
Accepted Treasurer’s resolution regarding postmarks on tax payments.
Reviewed and discussed 2nd Quarterly Budget report.
Discussed PILT payments paid to townships versus what is paid to the County. Triebes will continue to look into this.
