Supervisor, James Neve called the meeting to order at 7:02PM.
Board members present: James Neve, Denise Dunn, Deb Van Pelt and Gary Fredrickson and Victor Goldschmidt Also present: three citizens and two staff members.
No Public Comment.
Agenda set as amended.
Approved October 9, 2007 minutes as amended.
Approved October 11, 2007 minutes of special joint meeting with the Leelanau Township Planning Commission minutes.
Approved a maintenance agreement with Kopy Sales Inc.
Approved the Current Bills in the amount of $80,840.30.
AFLAC representatives Meghan Tilton and Amy Bush gave a presentation.
Reports heard from Leelanau County Board Of Commissioner; Mary Tonneberger, Fire Department; Hugh Cook, NEMS; Pat Burguard and Planning Commission; Denise Dunn.
Approved rezoning parcel #45-008-226-011-20 from Agricultural to Residential Conservation.
Approved changing firefighter Calvin Korson from probationary to regular active status.
Approved the appointment of Alan Dalzell to fill the unexpired term of Chuck Yearn on the Board of Review.
Discussed a proposed Outdoor Lighting Ordinance.
Communications were heard on Leelanau County MSU Extension directors interest in meeting with Township Officials, upcoming New Design for Growth meeting; and upcoming MTA Introduction to Township Laws class.
