Laura Patmore, daughter of Steve and Lucy Patmore of Suttons Bay, is one of 21 students from across the country to receive a scholarship that was funded by the Jaffe Family Foundation through the maurices/dressbarn program.

Scholarships are awarded to family members of the retailers’ employees on the basis of grade-point average, extracurricular activities, future goals, an essay and financial need.

Patmore attends Aquinas College in Grand Rapids.
