VILLAGE OF SUTTONS BAY
Ordinance No. 7 of 2007
To Amend Ordinance 6 of 2004
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE VILLAGE OF SUTTONS BAY LAKE
ACCESS AND PARKS ORDINANCE THE VILLAGE OF SUTTONS BAY ORDAINS:
Section 1. Amendment of Section 3.
Section 3 of the Village of Suttons Bay Lake Access and Parks Ordinance is hereby amended to add a new subsection (q), which shall read in its entirety as follows:
(q) “Alcoholic liquor” means any spirituous, vinous, malt, or fermented liquor, liquids and compounds, whether or not medicated, proprietary, patented, and by whatever name called, containing 1/2 of 1% or more of alcohol by volume which are fit for use for beverage purposes.
Section 2. Amendment of Section 4.
Section 4 of the Village of Suttons Bay Lake Access and Parks Ordinance is hereby amended to add a new subsection (j), which shall read in its entirety as follows:
(j) Possess or consume alcoholic liquor in Sutton Park.
Section 3. Validity.
If any section, provision or clause of this Ordinance or the application thereof to any person or circumstances is held invalid, such invalidity shall not effect any remaining portions or application of this Ordinance, which can be given effect without the invalid portion or application.
Section 4. Effective Date.
This Ordinance shall become effective twenty (20) days after being published in a newspaper of general circulation within the Village.
