The Art Place in Suttons Bay will offer a variety of special events and activities in the coming weeks.

On Saturday, Dec. 8, Alisa Cuellar will teach a “make and take” Christmas Candle and Candy Centerpiece workshop.

The workshop will be held from 1 to 3:30 p.m. The cost will be $7 for members and $10 for non-members, with all materials provided.

In addition, The Art Place will hold its December “Tree of Life” exhibition and sale at Samuel’s Neighborhood Restaurant in Suttons Bay. A reception will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 11 from 4 to 5 p.m. hosted by Samuel’s.
