Leelanau Democrats will discuss their party's 2008 presidential candidates at their regularly scheduled party meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 12, at 7 p.m. in the Munnecke Room at the Leland Public Library, 203 E. Cedar St. in Leland.

Presentations on the positions of the Democratic candidates will follow a short business meeting. Following a break for refreshments, there will be a general discussion/caucus by all members about their thoughts on the candidates.

“Following this there will be time for questions/comments/schmoozing on the status/prospects for the upcoming primary/caucus,” according to Robert E. Marshall, publicity chair of the Leelanau Democrats.
