1958-2007

Memorial services were held Monday in Traverse City for Gloria A. Lamie of Elmwood Township who died Nov. 28 at Munson Medical Center. She was 49.

She was born on Sept. 12, 1958, in Traverse City, the daughter of Valere J. and Arlene E. (Perrault) Lamie, who survive.

She enjoyed making hook rugs, bookwork and crafts; and participating in the Special Olympics.

Also surviving are her brother, Calvin Lamie of Interlochen; and sisters, Virginia (Stephen) Plamondon and Nora (James) Beckett, all of Williamsburg.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Dale and Leonard Lamie.

Following cremation, burial will be in the spring at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Lake Leelanau. Memorials may be directed to Mass Intentions or to the Food Pantry at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
