The Art Place (TAP) in Suttons Bay will host a potluck dinner and program on Friday evening as well as a special video workshop on Saturday.

The featured guest at all three events will be award-winning cinematographer John Prusak, who teaches video and animation in the Arts Education Program at Wayne State University.

The Dec. 14, 6 p.m. potluck will cost $1 per person for non-members of TAP. All participants should bring a dish to share. That evening, Prusak will speak about the student animation workshops sponsored by Detroit Area Film and Television.

On Dec. 15, from 9-11:30, a.m., Prusak will offer a workshop on live action video techniques. Participants should bring their own video camera and tripod. The cost will be $20 for TAP members or $25 for non-members.
