THE LEELANAU COUNTY COURTHOUSE WILL BE CLOSED ON TUESDAY, JANUARY 1, 2008, IN OBSERVANCE OF NEW YEAR’S DAY.

As approved at the Leelanau County Board of Commissioners May 17, 2005, Board meeting and as approved in the Leelanau County Employees Association union contract, New Year’s Day is a holiday and shall be observed; in addition, whenever a legal holiday falls on a Sunday, the Monday after will be considered the official holiday.
