A Lake Leelanau physician has been recertified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.

David L. Lemak, M.D., took the rigorous test needed to remain board certified in Lansing in November. The test must be taken every 10 years.

Lemak opened the Leelanau Urgent Care clinic in Lake Leelanau five years ago. It's located at 6701 E. Duck Lake Road.
