1920-2007

A memorial service will be held Friday, Jan. 18, in Naples, Fla., for Jeanne Todd Bartlett of Northport Point and Naples, who died Dec. 22 at Tendercare of Leelanau. She was 87.

She was born April 11, 1920, in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of Elmer and Emma (Hopping) Todd. On Sept. 10, 1971, in Cincinnati, she married Reed E. Bartlett, who survives.

Active in her communities, she was a devoted bridge, golf and tennis player and member of the Northport Point Club as well as the Leland Country Club. She was a generous supporter of local charities and was devoted to her church and Episcopal faith.

Also surviving are her three sons, Todd (Barb) Witt, Jeff (Sandy) Witt and Thomas Witt; three stepchildren, Linda Bartlett Westfall, Ann Bartlett Blemker, Reed E. Bartlett Jr.; a half brother, Robert F. Unkel; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, James Witt.
