The Cherry Capital Chorus, a men's barbershop harmony and a cappella singing group, will host an open house on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Traverse City.

The chorus has a new director of music, Jeff Cobb. who works as composer/clinician throughout the state and is the former director of choirs at Traverse City Central High School. He also directs the Interlochen All-State Choir, is director of music at Central United Methodist Church, and music director of Miracle Productions.

The chorus meets each Tuesday from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church on Airport Access Road in Traverse City. Male singers of all ages are invited to attend.
