Sandra Humfleet of Traverse City and Michael Adams of Cedar have announced their wedding engagement.

The bride is the daughter of Roger and Carol Humfleet of Traverse City. She is a graduate of Traverse City West Senior High School and earned an associate’s degree from Northwestern Michigan College. She is employed as a medical biller at Teter Orthotics and Prosthetics in Traverse City.

The future groom is the son of Mick and Carol Adams of Shelby. He is a graduate of Montague High School, attended Michigan Technological University, and is a Master plumber with D&W Mechanical in Traverse City.

The couple plans a Feb. 8 wedding date
