The following is a synopsis of the
January 8, 2008 regular meeting of the

Empire Township Board. A complete
copy of the minutes may be obtained
by contacting the Clerk.
Supervisor Bolton called the meeting
to order at 7:30 p.m. Members present:
Deering, Neiswonger, Pendleton, and
Noonan. Minutes of the 12-11-07 regular
meeting were approved.
Treasurer and Planning reports were
heard. The Board decided to hold a
special meeting with the Planning
Commission to discuss the new proposed
zoning ordinance. The date will
be determined as soon as possible.
Empire is hosting the MTA County
Chapter meeting on 1-16-08.
Actions approved by motions: 1)
Adopted Empire Township Sign
Ordinance No. 01-08. 2) Paid monthly
bills.
Meeting was adjourned at 7:55 p.m.
