The following is a synopsis of the
January 7, 2008 meeting of the Kasson

Township Board. A complete transcript
is available from the Township Clerk.
Supervisor Lanham called the meeting
to order at 7:30 p.m. All members were
present as well as twelve guests.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
There were no additions or deletions
to the agenda. No conflicts of interest
was declared.
The minutes of the December 3,
2007 regular meeting and the December
19, 2007 special meeting were
approved.
Reviewed correspondence.
Received Treasurer’s report and
approved payment of bills.
Received Glen’s Landfill and
December 13, 2007 Board of Appeals
reports.
Agreed to set income levels for poverty
exemption guidelines the same as
the federal poverty guidelines.
Consensus of Board was the tapes
from meetings will be destroyed one
year after approval of minutes.
Established dates for regular meetings
from February, 2008 through
January, 2009.
Agreed to hold Annual Spring Meeting
and Budget Hearing on Saturday, March
29, 2008 at 10:00 a.m.
Adjourned at 8:08 p.m.
