Immanuel Lutheran Church in Leland is hosting a Family Movie Night on Sunday, beginning at 7 p.m.
The Rev. Larry Matro said due to copyright law restrictions, he can not publicize the name of the film because the version being shown is formatted for private home ownership. He said owners of the company that distributes the film have no objections to the church airing the presentation as long as there is no charge and the name of the movie is not publicized. Matro said he looked into purchasing a copy of the film intended for public viewing, but those versions run between $100 to $300.
Matro called the film “family-oriented” with Christian themes, and very enjoyable. For more information, including the name of the film, call the church office at 256-9464.
