Visiting hours will be today, Jan. 24, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home in Traverse City, and funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Traverse City, with visitation one hour prior, for Deanna Jean (Thompson) Warren of Cedar, who died Jan. 20 at her home. She was 62.
She was born to Norris and Ethel (Foster) Thompson on Feb. 7, 1945, in Bay City. On Aug. 31, 1963, she married Kenneth Presley Warren, who survives.
A graduate of Bay City Central, she worked 25 years at Traverse City West Junior High School. She taught Sunday school at her church. For the past 31 years, she and her husband were leaders of the Lutheran Marriage Encounter in Michigan.
She is also survived by her three children, Scott (fiance Kim Raginia), Jill (Aislyn Johnson), Bradford (Jennifer); a sister, Karen (Michael) Stachowski of Bay City; and 10 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Beverly Heinz.
