Six Leelanau County students who are attending Western Michigan University were included on the dean's list for the fall 2007 semester.

A student must have made a 3.5 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale and carry at least 12 credit hours in order to make the list. County students on the list included:
Cedar residents Thomas J. Kittendorf, English, College of Arts and Sciences; and Grace N. McNeil, public relations, College of Arts and Sciences;
Kevin J. Cradduck of Lake Leelanau, finance, Haworth College of Business; Brooks J. Bunbury of Leland, pre-human resources management, Haworth College of Business; Daniel J. Tompkins of Northport, English and creative writing, College of Arts and Sciences; and Chris F. Wanroy of Suttons Bay, undecided, pre-business, Haworth College of Business.
