Married: Lynne Anne Herwaldt
and Scott Randolph Lawton

Lynne Anne Herwaldt of Holt and Scott Randolph Lawton of Traverse City were united in marriage on Nov. 17, 2007. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Kevin DeYoung at University Reformed Church in East Lansing. A reception followed at the Kellogg Center in East Lansing.

Marcy Herwaldt of Holt and Erin Lewandowski of Okemos, sisters of the bride, were the maid and matron of honor, respectively. The bridesmaids were Jennifer Lawton of Lansing, sister of the groom, and Courtney Bechler of Holt, a friend of the bride’s. The flower girl was the groom’s niece, Emily Cheltenham of Lansing.

The best man was the bride’s brother, Matt Herwaldt. The groomsmen were Ben Falconer of East Lansing and Brian Basch of Holt, friends of the groom, and Eric Lewandowski of Okemos, the couple’s brother-in-law.

The bride is the daughter of Tim and Sue Herwaldt of Holt. She is a graduate of Holt High School and Michigan State University, where she earned a master’s degree in speech pathology. She is employed by East Lansing Schools.

The groom is the son of Randy and Gail Lawton of Elmwood Township. He is a graduate of Traverse City High School and Michigan State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in physics. He is a senior programmer analyst at Auto Owners Insurance in Lansing.

The couple honeymooned in South Haven, and are residing in Okemos.
