Notice Of Mortgage Foreclosure Sale

ATTN PURCHASERS: This sale may be rescinded by the foreclosing mortgagee. In that event, your damages, if any, shall be limited solely to the return of the bid amount tendered at sale, plus interest.

MORTGAGE SALE - Default has been made in the conditions of a mortgage made by Gary Barker and Jennifer Christine Barker, husband and wife, original mortgagor(s), to R-B Financial Mortgage, Inc., Mortgagee, dated February 26, 2001, and recorded on March 8, 2001 in Liber 571 on Page 619, in Leelanau county records, Michigan, and assigned by said Mortgagee to CitiMortgage, Inc. as assignee, on which mortgage there is claimed to be due at the date hereof the sum of One Hundred Twenty-Two Thousand Five Hundred Eighty And 03/100 Dollars ($122,580.03), including interest at 8.875% per annum.

Under the power of sale contained in said mortgage and the statute in such case made and provided, notice is hereby given that said mortgage will be foreclosed by a sale of the mortgaged premises, or some part of them, at public vendue, at the place of holding the circuit court within Leelanau County, at 11:00 AM, on March 7, 2008.

Said premises are situated in Township of Suttons Bay, Leelanau County, Michigan, and are described as: Parcel B: Part of the Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of
Section 17, Town 30 North, Range 11 West, Suttons Bay Township,
Leelanau County, Michigan, more fully described as follows: Commencing at the West quarter corner of said Section 17, thence North 0 degrees 30 minutes 15 seconds West along the West Section line 1314.36 feet to the North Eighth line, thence South 89 degrees 49 minutes 50 seconds East along said line 937.67 feet to the centerline of County Road 637, thence along said centerline South 05 degrees 07 minutes 10 seconds East 499.00 feet to the point of beginning, thence continuing along said Centerline South 05 degrees 07 minutes 10 seconds East 252.00 feet, thence South 84 degrees 52 minutes 50 seconds West 519.00 feet, thence North 05 degrees 07 minutes 10 seconds West 252.00 feet, thence North 84 degrees 52 minutes 50 seconds East 519.00 feet to the point of beginning.

The redemption period shall be 12 months from the date of such sale, unless determined abandoned in accordance with MCLA 600.3241a, in which case the redemption period shall be 30 days from the date of such sale.
