Chamber Music North (CMN) will present its first concert in Traverse City Sunday, Feb. 24 at 3 p.m.
The program will be performed at Milliken Auditorium in the Dennos Museum Center, and is entitled Lyrical Landscapes. It will feature the music of Laurence Liberson, assistant principal clarinet of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra; Ann Arbor-based pianist Michelle Cooker; and cellist Debra Fayroian of Maple City.
Works of Schumann, Beethoven and Brahms will be performed.
CMN is a new grass roots presenting organization in the Grand Traverse area, and is planning two other performances in its “Sundays at Three “ concerts later this year.
