The Leelanau Conservancy will host two snowshoe hikes this week.

Anne Shoup, the Conservancy’s director of charitable giving, will lead a snowshoe hike at the DeYoung Natural Area in Elmwood Township at 10 a.m. Saturday. On Sunday, docents David Harris and Ann Mason will show participants points of interest at the Chippewa Run Natural Area near Empire, beginning at 1 p.m.

Participants must bring their own equipment, and registration is required by calling 256-9888.
