Bingham Township planners continued work last week on new zoning ordinance language designed to enhance agri-tourism in the township.
Planning Commission chairman Mike Park reported that the proposed zoning ordinance amendment was the only item on the commission’s agenda at its regular monthly meeting, Feb. 7.
“The entire commission was present, there were a number of people in the audience, and we had what I think is probably one of the most productive meetings we’ve ever had,” Park said.
Park said he was hopeful the commission would be able to finalize the agri-
tourism language at its next regular monthly meeting in March, and bring the proposed zoning ordinance amendment to a public hearing in April.
