Great Lakes Telecom, with home offices in Ann Arbor, has opened a new office on West Bay Shore Drive in Greilickville and joins a growing cluster of high-tech companies along the corridor.

In business since 1972, Great Lakes Telecom owner Ted Apostoleris provides sales, service and maintenance organization of digital and VoIP telephone products, services such as video conferencing, and video surveillance and audio products for institutional applications. Aposterlis is a longtime summer resident of Suttons Bay, and sales executive Bill Irwin is a Little Traverse Lake resident.

The new office at 13056 S. West Bay Shore Dr., has a complete showroom of products, and also includes a Internet-based video conference center that it rents to the public.
