Knitting basics will be taught in a class at The Yarn Shop in Glen Arbor on three consecutive Thursdays - Feb. 28, March 6 and March 13 - from 1 to 4 p.m.

The class uses a simple project to teach fundamental skills and is geared to both the beginner and those who want to refresh their skills.

The class fee is $12 and includes project yard, patterns and other instructional handouts. Students need to bring knitting needs. Class size is limited.
