An Italian dinner that will help send the St. Mary Chapter of the Business Professionals of America (BPA) to a state competition will be held Saturday, March 1.

Twenty-seven St. Mary BPA students advanced to state competition with a strong performance at a regional event last month. BPA competition includes events ranging from speeches to computers, and from office procedure to time management — all relating to the world of business. The state competition is March 13-15 in Grand Rapids.

In addition to spaghetti with meatballs, chicken alfredo and garlic bread, those in attendance will see student presentations, speeches, slideshows, interviews and graphic design works describing various business topics.

Tickets for the dinner at $10 apiece and are available for two seatings — 4:45 p.m. and 6:45 p.m.
