Four county students were recognized for their scholastic achievements during fall semester 2007 at Northwood University in Midland.

Syrena M. Rexroat of Lake Leelanau and Colin R. Korson of Suttons Bay were named to Northwood’s president’s list, an honor for students with a grade-point average of 3.85 or better on a 4-point scale.

Rexroat is the daughter of Doug and Jozell Rexroat, and Korson is the son of Donald and MaryAnn Korson. Both are St. Mary graduates.

Also honored with dean’s list recognition was Michael A. Lingaur and Nicholas C. Smith, both of Cedar. Lingaur is the son of Dale and Josephine Lingaur, and Smith is the son of David Smith.
