The Yarn Shop in Glen Arbor will offer classes in the basics of knitting on the first two Thursdays in March.

The classes, planned on March 6 and March 13, will utilize a simple project to teach fundamental skills, and is geared to both beginners and those who want to refresh their skills.

The fee for the class is $12 and includes project yarn, patterns and instructional handouts, and students should bring knitting needles. Class size is limited and registration is requested. Call 334-3805 for more information.
